PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF 11PPRECIflT10N
TO
PATRICK MURPHY
WHEREAS, Patrick Murphy is a co-founder of the Lincoln San Rafael Hill
Neighborhood Association and has served as its President since 1999;
and
WHEREAS, Patrick has been an active member of the Federation of San Rafael
Neighborhoods, establishing good working relationships between the
neighborhoods, the City and the County; and
WHEREAS, Patrick co-founded die Sound -wall Noise Abatement Committee
(SNAC) and has worked diligently since 1997 to resolve highway noise
issues on behalf of his neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, Patrick has taken on a leadership role by hosting public information
forums and dedicating numerous hours toward initiatives that have
enhanced public safety, improved and beautified the neighborhood
and promoted youth development; and
WHEREAS, Patrick demonstrates a personal commitment toward bettering the
community through his innovative ideas and projects and is a shining
example of civic involvement and pride;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby commends Patrick Murphy for his tireless and selfless efforts on
behalf of his community and the City of San Rafael.
