A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL WAIVING CONSTRUCTION FEES FOR 1510
FIFTH AVENUE (MARIN HEAD START)
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has received a written request for a waiver of
construction related fees at 1510 FIFTH AVENUE (Marin Head Start) for renovations to
a childcare facility; and
WHEREAS, Policy LU -57 of General Plan 2000 encourages the retention of
childcare centers to meet city wide needs ; and
WHEREAS, Policy LU -57 further encourages the retention of childcare facilities
"by waiving all fees for proposed childcare centers." ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously waived fees for similar projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City Council
does hereby waive construction related fees for 1510 FIFTH AVENUE (Marin Head
Start) .
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City on Tuesday, the 22nd day of January, 2002, by the
following vote, to wit:
