CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
Richard Landis
Whereas, Richard Landis has been employedwith the City of San Rafaelfor 5 years,
and
Whereas, RichardLandis has cheerfully taken on projects beyond the scope of his job
duties; ancC
Whereas, Richard has taken on and managed the City's bus shelter program; the
Shoreline Park grant program resulting in over $ioo,000 in grant funds;
the Medway/Canal roadway improvements and the associated grant
funding for the initial design concepts including neighborhood outreach
efforts; establishing the original concept for the staff capital improvement
committee resulting in better project management and improved
response to other departments; co -managed the preparation and adoption
of the City's Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan and prepared an
exhaustive and thorough environmentalreview of the Plan; anti;
Whereas, Richards pleasant demeanor andpositive "can do" attitude is appreciated
by all that come in contact with him.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby designate Richard Landis as Employee of the Quarter for the
fourth quarter of zoos, and express sincere appreciation for his dedication,
professionalism azddoutstanding service to the City of San Rafael.
