CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
JANET FRANKLIN
WHEREAS, In 1997, the City began working in partnership with Kaiser, San
Rafael, to develop a comprehensive Employee Wellness Program;
and
WHEREAS, Janet Franklin, Health Education Director, Kaiser, helped
formulate the program from the very beginning, placing the
emphasis on creating a program that would be substantive and
based on scientific studies; and
WHEREAS, Janet has demonstrated outstanding organizational skill in
recruiting participants for numerous program elements,
coordinating their activities and facilitating the enrollment of City
employees in Kaiser's Health Education Programs; and
WHEREAS, Janet is a true evaluator of the program, ensuring that it is varied
and fun but that it also continues to be oriented toward improving
employee health and providing measurable results; and
WHEREAS, Janet is to be commended for her contribution to the City's
Employee Wellness Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the
City of San Rafael express sincere appreciation to JANET FRANKLIN for her
dedication, professionalism and outstanding service to the employees of the City of
San Rafael.
