RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY COUNCIL TO APPOINT
A REPRESENTATIVE TO THE MARINMAP STEERING
COMMITTEE FOR FY 2002-2004 (DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF
PUBLIC WORKS {ENGINEERING}, REPRESENTATIVE AND THE
GIS ANALYST, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS,
ALTERNATE)
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has been developing its Geographical
Information System (GIS) for several years; and
WHEREAS, MarinMap has been established as a project under the Marin
Telecommunications Authority (MTA) for the purpose of sharing common GIS data; and
WHEREAS, the City is a charter member in good standing of MarinMap to the
mutual benefit to all parties; and

WHEREAS, as all members of MarinMap must appoint a representative to the Steering
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of San Rafael
hereby authorizes the appointment of the Deputy Director of Public Works (Engineering), and the GIS
Analyst, Department of Public Works as the representative and alternate representative, respectively, to
the Steering Committee of the MarinMap Project administered by the MTA.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council
of said City on the 18th day of March, 2002, by the following vote, to wit:
