RESOLUTION NO. 11045
RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL AWARDING
CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE OF HEWLETT PACKARD PC SERVERS AND
PERSONAL COMPUTERS TO TOTALLY COMPUTER, INC. IN THE AMOUNT
OF $113,537.
Whereas, the City's Technology Strategic Plan includes the implementation of a
new Computer Aided Dispatch/Records Management System; and,
Whereas, the acquisition of Hewlett Packard PC Servers and Personal
Computers are an integral part of the new Computer Aided Dispatch/Records
Management System Project; and,
Whereas, on the 15th day of January, 2002, pursuant to due and legal notice
published in the manner provided by law, inviting sealed bids for proposals for
the products and services hereinafter mentioned, as more fully appears from the
Affidavit of Publication thereof on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
San Rafael, California, the City Clerk of said City did publicly open, examine and
declare all sealed bids or proposals for Hewlett Packard PC Servers and
Personal Computers and services in accordance with the bid document on file in
the office of said City Clerk; and
Whereas, the bid of Totally Computer, Inc. in the amount of $113,537 was and
is the lowest and best bid for said products and services and said bidder is the
lowest responsible bidder therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND RESOLVED that the bid
of Totally Computer, Inc., is hereby accepted.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED AND RESOLVED that the City Manager of said City
be authorized and directed to execute a purchase order or agreement in a form
approved by the City Attorney for the purchase from Totally Computer, Inc. of
such products and services in the amount of $113,537.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Assistant City Manager is hereby
authorized to take any and all such actions and make changes and expedite
such agreements, in a form approved by the City Attorney, as may be necessary
to accomplish the purpose of this resolution.

foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the San Rafael City Council meeting held on
the eighteenth day of March, 2002 by the following vote, to wit:
