CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
Sean Gallagher
Whereas, Sean Gallagher, a local film producer, set out to make a documentary
about the City of San Rafael, which was called MISSION CITY: THE STREETS
OF SAN RAFAEL; and
Whereas, two years of Sean's time was spent researching the history and essence
that makes up San Rafael: and
Whereas, the documentary MISSION CITY: STREETS OF SAN RAFAEL highlights the
City's neighborhoods, from Downtown to North San Rafael from the Canal
Neighborhood to the West End; also featuring the San Rafael Mission, the
restored Rafael Theater and the Downtown Farmers Market; and
Whereas, the films theme song, San Rafael (Got to be), was written and performed
by Sean; and
Whereas, Sean has created a richly informative and visually inviting documentary of
San Rafael.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby expresses their appreciation to Sean Gallagher for such a well
done documentary highlighting San Rafael.
