CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
DONALD STREEPER
RETIRING COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT SENIOR SUPERVISOR
WHEREAS Don Streeper has been employed by the City of San Rafael for 26 years,
beginning his career as a student intern coaching basketball at San Pedro
School; and
WHEREAS, Don served in the capacity as Teen Program Coordinator, Sports Supervisor,
Recreation Supervisor and Senior Recreation Supervisor, and
WHEREAS, Don supervised the Terra Linda Community Center and Pool for eighteen
years; and was instrumental in the construction of the new Terra Linda
Community Pool, the purchase and installation of the Class software
program, and the marketing functions for the Community Services
Department; and
WHEREAS, as Senior Recreation Supervisor, Don had direct supervision over five full
time employees and over forty part time employees in the management of
three community centers, and
WHEREAS, he was a dedicated, enthusiastic, energetic member of the City mid
management staff; and is retiring from the City to pursue a career in Windsor,
California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Rafael
hereby extend congratulations and appreciation to DON STREEPER, retired Senior Recreation
Supervisor.
