RESOLUTION NO. 11142
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
Ann Batman
WHEREAS, Ann Batman has served as a member of the San Rafael Planning
Commission since 1994, representing the interests of the residents of the
City and seeking to improve the quality of life in her community; and
WHEREAS, Ann Batman also served for twelve years on the Cultural Affairs
Commission, from its inception, including serving as their first
chairperson, and as a member on the Downtown Advisory Group; and
WHEREAS, Ann has attended more than 500 City meetings, never once losing her
concentration or consciousness; and
WHEREAS, Ann's contributions to the community are too numerous to document, but
include such notable projects as the Rafael Town Center, Rafael
Corporate Center, Maria B. Freitas Senior Community; Home Depot,
Shamrock Center, Bayview Business Park, Kaiser Clinic, Ranchitos Park
Subdivision, Loch Lomond 10, Chapel Cove and Academy Heights
subdivisions, Lone Palm Apartments, McInnis Apartments, 1101 Fifth
Avenue, Vista Marin, Deer Valley Apartments, Regency Center II, Marin
Lofts, Lofts at Albert Park, Aldersley Assisted Living, Parkside Child
Care Center, Sonnen BMW, Lexus of Marin, Team GM, the Vision North
San Rafael, Dominican College Master Plan and General Plan 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby commend Ann Batman for her tireless and selfless efforts on behalf of
her community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council recognizes Ann Batman as a valued
community leader.
