RESOLUTION NO. 11143
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
.Andrea Wordy 9KacLeod
WHEREAS, Andrea Purdy MacLeod has served as a member of the San Rafael Design
Review Board since 1995, representing the interests of the residents of
the City and seeking to improve the aesthetics of her community; and
WHEREAS, Andrea, in her spare time, has participated in community design
charrettes and the North San Rafael Vision process; and
WHEREAS, Andrea has reviewed more than 300 design review applications during
her tenure on the DRB, often more than once; and
WHEREAS, Andrea's contributions to the community are too numerous to document,
but include such notable projects as the Rafael Town Center, Rafael
Corporate Center, Maria B. Freitas Senior Community; Home Depot,
Shamrock Center, Bayview Business Park, Kaiser Clinic, Ranchitos Park
Subdivision, Loch Lomond 10, Chapel Cove and Academy Heights
subdivisions, Lone Palm Apartments, McInnis Apartments, 1101 Fifth
Avenue, Vista Marin, Deer Valley Apartments, Regency Center II, Marin
Lofts, Lofts at Albert Park, Aldersley Assisted Living, Parkside Child
Care Center, Sonnen BMW, Lexus of Marin, Team GM, Dominican
University Recreation Center and the first City Architectural Design
Awards.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby commend Andrea Purdy MacLeod for her tireless and selfless efforts on
behalf of her community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council recognizes Andrea Purdy MacLeod as a
valued community leader.
