RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
ESTABLISHING PARKING RATES
WHEREAS, Chapter 5.60 of the San Rafael Municipal Code entitled Parking Meters
authorizes the City Council to set parking meter rates by resolution (Section 5.60.060),and;
WHEREAS, the revenue from the current parking meter rates will fail to cover the cost
of operations and debt service as indicated in the Parking Services Financial Model, and;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the parking rates for all parking meters
in San Rafael are set at sixty minutes of legal parking for each sixty United States cents ($0.60)
in various combinations of coins as accepted by each individual parking meter, and up to the
maximum time period permitted by each parking meter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
adopts the Schedule of Parking Rate as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated
herein, and that any resolutions or other actions previously establishing a Schedule of Parking
Rates are hereby rescinded.

foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
City Council of said City held on Mondav, the 18th day of November. 2002 by the following
vote, to wit:
