CITY OF SAN RAFAEL

WherecW; Dawn has been a valued member off the San Rafael Fire Department since October
11,1999; and
Wliewea*, Dawn's enthusiasm for her work far exceeds those duties as the Fire Prevention Bureau
Secretary including assisting the Dispatchers and being a member of the City's USAR
team; and
Who reci,; Dawn is involved in many of the Fire Department Community Fire Servicing programs,
comprising DART,CPR and First Aid; and
Whpere W, Dawn has difficulty saying no to anyone needing assistance and is always willing to lend
a hand; and
Wh4erea k, Dawn's pleasant cooperative spirit is a major asset to the Fire Department; and
WhereGt,k, Dawn is respected for her commitment to the City of San Rafael as both an employee of
the City and a community volunteer active in civic affairs.
N&W therefore, be, X rebolVe& that the Mayor and the City Council of the City of San Rafael
hereby designate 'Daw►ti'Barbour as Employee of the Quarter for the Third Quarter of 2002, and
express sincere appreciation for her dedication, professionalism and outstanding service to the City of
San Rafael.
