CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
i01aUT10N OF APPRECIATION
ROTARY CLUB OF MISSION SAN RAFAEL
Rotary Club of Mission San Rafael has for over twenty years served
Thanksgiving dinner at Whistlestop and for at least ten years has hosted
Davidson Middle School sixth grade students for Job Shadow Day; and
Rotary Club of Mission San Rafael sponsors elementary school students to
attend summer camp each summer and sponsors a Little League baseball
team each year; and
Rotary Club of Mission San Rafael has for six years taught financial
literacy at the County Community High School twice a month and
awarded vocational scholarships and college scholarships to worthy
youths each year; and
Rotary Club of Mission San Rafael has beautified their community by
participating in Coastal Cleanup Days, renovating a local home in
conjunction with Rebuilding Together, as well as planting trees in the
downtown area; and
Rotary Club of Mission San Rafael has contributed greatly to the
San Rafael community with their youth, community and vocational
services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby commend the Rotary Club of Mission San Rafael and its members for their
tireless and selfless efforts on behalf of the City of San Rafael.
