CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS

TO
TERRA LINDA ROTARY'CLUB
Terra Linda Rotary Club has contributed to various youth programs in the
community including sponsoring a high school service club at Terra Linda High
School, financially supporting "safe grad night" at Terra Linda High School and
providing dictionaries to all third graders in the Terra Linda Valley; and
Terra Linda Rotary has provided $13,000 per year in college scholarships to
Terra Linda and Marin Catholic students and recognizes outstanding teachers
from San Rafael City Schools and the Dixie School District with awards; and
Terra Linda Rotary actively participates in the "Meals on Wheels" program,
developed and maintains a children's library at Kaiser Hospital in Terra Linda
and provided several hundred thousand dollars toward a housing project in San
Rafael; and
Terra Linda Rotary has beautified their community by painting the Terra Linda
Recreation Center, as well as planting trees and performing routine maintenance
of vegetation around the Civic Center Lagoon; and
Terra Linda Rotary has contributed greatly not only to the San Rafael
community, but has also made extensive contributions to projects on an
international level.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby commend the Terra Linda Rotary Club and its members for their tireless and selfless
efforts on behalf of the City of San Rafael.
