RESOMITION OF APPRECIATION
TO
SAN RAFAEL HARBOR ROTARY CLUB
San Rafael Harbor Rotary Club has supported projects and activities
focused in the Canal Neighborhood of San Rafael, including an annual
free Halloween Movie Night, cleanup activities and special event
assistance; and
San Rafael Harbor Rotary Club supports Bahia Vista Elementary School
through purchase and distribution of hundreds of large picture dictionaries,
as well as Davidson Middle School through the creation and ongoing
maintenance of the Centennial Garden Project; and
San Rafael Harbor Rotary Club has for years participated in local Holiday
gift giving, food bank contributions and Salvation Army fundraising
throughout San Rafael; and
San Rafael Harbor Rotary Club has beautified their community by
participating in Coastal Cleanup Day, Make a Difference Day, Earth Day,
and other litter cleanup projects; and
WHEREAS, San Rafael Harbor Rotary Club has contributed greatly to the
San Rafael community with their support of Marin Literacy, as well as
internationally through their support of a school in Ecuador.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby commend the San Rafael Harbor Rotary Club and its members for their
tireless and selfless efforts on behalf of the City of San Rafael.
