Home My WebLink AboutCC Resolution 12319 (Off Street Parking Rates)RESOLUTION NO. 12319 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL ESTABLISHING OFF STREET PARKING FEE RATES & CHARGES AND DESIGNATING THOSE OFF STREET FACILITIES IN WHICH SUCH RATES & CHARGES WILL APPLY, AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 11774 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, The City of San Rafael currently operates and shall continue to provide off- street parking within the City; and WHEREAS, The City Council has determined that additional revenues will be required to meet current and future expenses related to provision of parking services within the City of San Rafael; and WHEREAS, the revenues collected from these off-street parking facilities are used for the expenses and projects paid for by the Parking Enterprise Fund; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the specification of off street parking rates is statutorily exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act, under Public Resources Code Section 21080(b)(8), relating to the collection of fees to meet operating expenses, costs for supplies, equipment, and materials, reserve requirements, and capital expenses in the City's parking programs. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES THAT off street parking rates and charges will be as set forth in Exhibit "A' attached hereto and incorporated herein, and rescinds Resolution no. 11774, effective on October 1, 2007.
