Tax Rates for Fiscal Year 2012/2013 for Both Residential and Non -Residential Properties

Mayor Phillips declared the Public Hearing opened and there being no comment from the audience, he
closed the public hearing.
The title of the ordinance was read:

CONTINUING THE PARAMEDIC TAX RATES, COMMENCING WITH FISCAL YEAR

RAFAEL ($89.00 FOR RESIDENTIAL AND $0.12 PER SQUARE FOOT FOR NON-
RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES) AND THE MARINWOOD COMMUNITY SERVICES
DISTRICT ($85.00 FOR RESIDENTIAL AND $0.11 PER SQUARE -FOOT FOR NON-

8. Councilmember Reports
Councilmember Levine reported on the Homelessness and Group Homes sub -committees and the
proposed Homelessness Stakeholder Group.
Mavor Phillips indicated that he travelled to Portland, Oreqon, last week to explore their approach to
homelessness.
Councilmember Connolly reported on a recent Climate Change Action Plan community group meeting
and a Marin Energy Authority project at San Rafael airport.
Councilmember McCullough reported on Downtown sub -committee meetings last week.
Councilmember Heller reported on SMART.
Mayor Phillips thanked Assistant City Manager Jim Schutz for his work on the Pension committee.
