Education: MBA from Booth School of Business at University of Chicago BA in Economics Honors Program at Temple University (Philadelphia) Why are you interested in serving on a board or commission? Now that my children have moved into their teen years, even with full time work, I find that I have time to again pick up my civic and volunteer activities that are outside the sphere of their schools. Recently I took the children to Sacramento to visit the state capitol, meet with Assemblyman Levine's office, and sit in on the public portion of the CA Board of Psychology meeting (my husband is a clinical board member.) It was an inspiring day and illuminated to me that I am missing this part of my life. I have followed the activities of the Mosquito and Vector Board in the newspaper. My personal knowledge of such things is limited to living for two years in the tropics as a Peace Corps volunteer. I would truly welcome the opportunity to serve our community on the Sonoma/Marin Mosquito and Vector Board.
