the foregoing Charter Ordinance No. 1569 entitled:

ORDINANCE NO. 1569
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA,
ADOPTED BY REFERENCE BY SECTION 14.15.020
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA,
SO AS TO RECLASSIFY CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FROM "U" (UNCLASSIFIED) DISTRICT
TO P -D (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT
(Laurel Glen - 26 San Pablo Avenue)
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
DIVISION 1. The Zoning Map of the City of San Rafael,
California, adopted by reference by Section 14.15.020 of the
Municipal Code is amended by reclassifying the following real
property from "U" (Unclassified) District to P -D (Planned Development)
District. Said property so reclassified is located at 26 San
Pablo Avenue, San Rafael, County Assessor's Parcel 179-321-40,
which is more particularly described in Exhibit "A".
DIVISION 2. Any development of this property shall
be consistent with the Laurel Glen Master Plan and conditions
approved by the Planning Commission on August 15, 1989, for
UP88-104(b), ED88-106(b) and TS89-2(b).
DIVISION 3. If any section, subsection, sentence,
clause or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held to
be invalid, such holding or holdings shall not affect the validity
of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The Council declares
that it would have passed this ordinance and each section,
subsection, sentence, clause and phrase thereof, irrespective
of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences,
clauses or phrases be declared invalid.
DIVISION 4. This ordinance shall be published once
in full before its final passage in a newspaper of general
circulation, published and circulated in the City of San Rafael,
and shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days after
its final passage.

The foregoing Ordinance No. 1569 was read and introduced
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of San
Rafael on the 5th day of September 1989
and ordered passed to print by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Boro, Frugoli, Thayer & Vice -Mayor Breiner
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Mayor Mulryan
and will come up for adoption as an Ordinance of the City of
San Rafael at a regular meeting of the Council to be held on
the 18th day of September , 1989.

DESCRIPTION
ALL THAT CERTAIN real property situate in the City of San Rafael, County of Marin,
State of Califomia, described as follows:
PARCEL ONE:
BEGINNING at a point on the Easterly side of the Public Highway known as Petaluma.
Road, where said road crosses what was formerly known as the Dixon Puerto Suello,
said point being where said road is intersected by the Northerly boundary line of the
"Coleman Tact"; thence along the summit of the San Peddo Ridge and following the
Noathe"r Cy yundary line of the "Cboleman Tract", North 45 35' E8st 469.8 feet, SoutF.
SO 11' Etst 129.7 feet, South 73 13' East 171.7 feet, North 88 19' East 160.5 feet,
North 55 42' East 300 feel, thence leaving the said "Coleman Tract" and 'descending,
from said Ridge North 48 49' West 1503.5 feet to a stake in the Southerly .k5Q.0 ark
line of San Pablo Avenue; thence along said boundary line of said Avenue, South 23-39'
West 878.2 feet too the Easterly side of the Pet$luma Road; thence along saig side of
said road South 36 31' East 195.1 feet, South 34 36' East 208.7 feet, South 44 37' East
334.9 feet to the point of beginning.

AN EASEMENT for roadway and utility purposes over a'strip og land 40 feet in width
lying Southwesterly of and adjacent to the course North 48 49' West 188 feet as
