the foregoing Charter Ordinance No. 1462 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTED BY REFERENCE BY SECTION 14.15.020
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA, SO AS TO RECLASSIFY
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT TO C-2-DRD
(GENERAL COMMERCIAL -DOWNTOWN REVIEW) DISTRICT (Fourth St. from "D" to
"H" and Ida)
is a true and correct copy of an ordinance of said City and was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of San Rafael, held on the fifth day of
July 1983, published as required by City Charter in the
San Rafael News/Pointer a newspaper published in the City
of San Rafael and passed and adopted as an ordinance of said City at
a regular meeting of the City Council of said City
held on the eighteenth day of July 1983, by the following
vote, to wit:

ORDINANCE NO. 1462
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING THE
ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA,
ADOPTED BY REFERENCE BY SECTION 14.15.020 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA, SO AS TO
RECLASSIFY CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM C-2 (GENERAL
COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT TO C-2-DRD (GENERAL COMMERCIAL -
DOWNTOWN REVIEW) DISTRICT
(Fourth Street from "D" to "H" and Ida)
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
DIVISION 1. The Zoning Map of the City of San Rafael,
California, adopted by reference by Section 14.15.020 of the Muni-
cipal Code is amended by reclassifying the following real property
from C-2 (General Commercial) District to C-2-DRD (General Com-
mercial -Downtown Review) District. Said property so reclassified
is located on Fourth Street from "D" Street to "H" Street (on
north side) and to Ida Street (on south side), San Rafael, County
Assessor's Parcels 11-192-07, 08 & 16; 11-194-07, 08, 13 and por-
tion 11; 11-196-07, 08, 09, 10, 11 & 12; 11-202-11, 12, 13 & 14;
11-204-081 09, 14, 150 17 & portion 13; 11-232-01, 02 & 03;
11-241-010 30, 311 32 & 33; 11-242-01 thru 11; 11-245-26; and
11-251-01, 02, 03 & 04 and described in Exhibit "A", attached.
DIVISION 2. This Ordinance shall be published once in full
before its final passage in a newspaper of general circulation,
published and circulated in the City of San Rafael, and shall be in
full force and effect thirty (30) days after its final passage.

The foregoing Ordinance No. 1462 was read and intro-
duced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
San Rafael, held on the fifth day of Julv , 1983,
and ordered passed to print by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Frugoli, Miskimen & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Jensen
and will come up for adoption as an Ordinance of the City of San
Rafael at a regular meeting of the Council to be held on the
eighteenth day of July 1983.

DESCRIPTION
All that certain real property situate in the City of San
Rafael, County of Marin, State of California, described as
follows:
County of Marin Assessor's Parcels fronting on the North side
of Fourth Street between "D" Street and "H" Street, more
particularly Assessor's Parcels 11-192-07, 08 & 16; 11-194-07,
08; the southerly portion of 11-194-11 bounded on the West by
the Easterly line of "G" Street, on the North by a line
parallel to and distant 120 feet, more or less, from the
Northerly line of Fourth Street, on the East by the Easterly
boundary of said parcel extended Northerly 20 feet, more or
less, and on the South by the Northerly line of Fourth Street;
11-194-13; 11-196-07, 08, 09, 10, 11 & 12; 11-202-11, 12, 13 &
14; 11-204-08 & 09; the southerly portion of 11-204-13 extending
the width of said parcel and bounded on the North by a line
parallel to and distant 100 feet, more or less, from the
Northerly line of Fourth Street; and 11-204-14, 15 & 17.
