the foregoing Charter Ordinance No. 1467 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTED BY REFERENCE BY SECTION 14.15.020
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA, SO AS TO RECLASSIFY CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FROM R-2 (DUPLEX RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT TO C-1 (RESTRICTED COM-
MERCIAL) DISTRICT - (111 Third St.)
is a true and correct copy of an ordinance of said City and was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of San Rafael, held on the third day of
October , 1983, published as required by City Charter in the
San Rafael News/Pointer a newspaper published in the City
of San Rafael and passed and adopted as an ordinance of said City at
a regular meeting of the City Council of said City
held on the seventeenth day of October , 1683, by the following
vote, to wit:

ORDINANCE NO. 1467
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING
THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL,
CALIFORNIA, ADOPTED BY REFERENCE BY SECTION
14.15.020 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF SAN RAFAEL,
CALIFORNIA, SO AS TO RECLASSIFY CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FROM R-2 (DUPLEX RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT TO
C-1 (RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
DIVISION 1. The Zoning Map of the City of San Rafael,
California, adopted by reference by Section 14.15.020 of the Muni-
cipal Code is amended by reclassifying the following real property
from R-2 (Duplex Residential) District to C-1 (Restricted Commer-
cial) District. Said property so reclassified is located at 111
Third Street, San Rafael, County Assessor's Parcel 14-161-07 as
described in Exhibit "A".
DIVISION 2. This Ordinance shall be published once in
full before its final passage in a newspaper of general circulation,
published and circulated in the City of San Rafael, and shall
be in full force and effect thirty (30) days after its final passage.

The foregoing Ordinance No. 1467 was read and intro-
duced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
San Rafael, held on the 3rd day of October , 1983, and
ordered passed to print by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS:Breiner, Frugoli, Jensen & Acting Mayor Miskimen
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS:None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS:Mayor Mulryan
and will come up for adoption as an Ordinance of the City of San
Rafael at a regular meeting of the Council to be held on the
17th day of October , 1983.

EXHIBIT "A"
All that certain real property situate in the City of San Rafael, County of
Marin, State of California, and described as follows, to -wit:
PARCEL ONE: Beginning at a point on the Southerly line of the County Road as
it formerly existed, which runs Easterly from the City of San Rafael to Point
San Pedro, which said point is the Northwesterly corner of the tract of land
on the Northerly bank of San Rafael Creek conveyed by Anthony Huck to Hans
Iverson by Deed dated February 15, 1881 and recorded in Book V of Deeds, page
279, and running thence Southerly along the Westerly line of said tract 50 feet,
more or less, to the Northerly bank of said creek, thence Westerly along the
Northerly bank of said creek 75 feet, thence Northerly and parallel with the
Westerly line of said tract, conveyed by said Huck to said Iverson to the
Southerly line of said County Road, as it formerly existed, leading from San
Rafael to Point San Pedro, thence Easterly along the Southerly line of said
road, 75 feet to the point of beginning.
PARCEL TWO: Beginning at a point on the Northerly line of Third Street,
(Point San Pedro Road) as it formerly existed, distant thereon North 78° 49'
West 118.90 feet, and North 87° 52' West 51.76 feet from the Northwest corner
of Third Street as it formerly existed, and Embarcadero Way, thence leaving
the said Northerly line of Third Street as it formerly existed, North 660 17'
West 75.0 feet and South 2° 32' West to a point in the Southerly line of Third
Street, as it formerly existed, at the Northeasterly corner of that certain
tract of land conveyed by Wm. T. Coleman to G. Cheda by Deed recorded May 9,
1883 in the Marin County Recorder's Office, in Book "Y" of Deeds, at page 327,
thence Easterly along the Southerly line of Third Street as it formerly
existed 75 feet to the Northwesterly corner of that certain tract of land con-
veyed by A. Huck to Hans Iverson by Deed recorded February 16, 1881 in the
Marin County Recorders Office in Book "V" of Deeds at page 279, thence North
3° 45' East 60.85 feet and North 66° 17' West 6.81 feet to the point of begin-
ning.
