(333 Biscayne Drive)
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
DIVISION 1. The Peacock Gap Neighborhood Plan was
adopted by the City Council on December 15, 1980, and an
environmental impact report was certified for the plan on that
date.
DIVISION 2. The Peacock Gap Neighborhood Plan
recommended that the Peacock Gap Golf and Country Club be
rezoned to a Recreational/Open Space zoning district. A
Commercial -Recreational zoning district was adopted by the
City Council on August 3, 1981, for golf courses and similar
uses, and the City Council at that time directed staff to pro-
ceed with a Commercial -Recreational rezoning of the Peacock
Gap Golf and Country Club. The Planning Commission on
October 13, 1981, recommended 5-1 the C-R/O rezoning and
prior EIR determination. The City Council finds that the
proposed rezoning is in conformance with the Peacock Gap
Neighborhood Plan and is, therefore, covered by the prior
Peacock Gap Neighborhood Plan EIR.
DIVISION 3. The City Council rezones the
Peacock Gap Golf and Country Club proper to the C-R
(Commercial Recreational) District, and the lagoon parcel
to the"O" (Open Space) District.
