Establishing a Fire Prevention Bureau and Providing
Officers Therefor, and Defining Their Duties and Powers

11 Public Hearing - Appeal of Planning Commission Denial of Design Review and Use Permit for a
Second -Dwelling Unit at 14 Broadview Court, San Rafael; Edward and Paula Weiss, Owners; Mike
Palumbo, Representative (CD)
Explanation: Continued from City Council meeting of 1/19/99.
Planning Commission, at its meeting of October 13, 1998, by a vote of
5-0-2 (Commissioners Scott & Williams absent) denied a request for a
Design Review Permit (ED97-141) and Use Permit (UP97-67) for a
second dwelling unit at 14 Broadview Court.

Recommend adoption of Resolution denying appeal.
