DANIEL BOWLING OF CURTIS AND BOWLING MEDIATION FOR A TOTAL COMPENSATION AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $50,000 AYES: Councilmembers: Colin, Gamblin, McCullough & Mayor Phillips NOES: Councilmembers: None ABSENT: Councilmembers: Bushey b. Second Reading and Final Adoption of Ordinance No. 1941 - An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of San Rafael Amending San Rafael Municipal Code Chapter 5.40 Entitled "Stopping, Standing and Parking", to add Restrictions on Parking, Stopping, and Standing of Recreational Vehicles and Oversized Vehicles (PS) — File 9-3-87 RV Ordinance - Second Readina Referring to Section 5.40.140 D of the municipal code, Councilmember McCullough suggested broadening the language in paragraph 2 (commencing with fourth line from end) to read: "or the loading or unloading of large or heavy items, including without limitation..." continuing the existing language. City Attorney Robert Epstein suggested taking a vote to reintroduce the ordinance with the proposed change, returning for second reading at the next City Council meeting, if feasible. Mavor Phillips / Robert Epstein Mavor Phillips / Robert Epstein Councilmember McCullough Mavor Phillips invited public comment; however, there was none The title of the ordinance was read: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING SAN RAFAEL MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 5.40 ENTITLED "STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING", TO ADD RESTRICTIONS ON PARKING, STOPPING, AND STANDING OF RECREATIONAL VEHICLES AND OVERSIZED VEHICLES Councilmember McCullough moved and Councilmember Gamblin seconded to dispense with the reading of the ordinance in its entirety and refer to it by title only, and pass Charter Ordinance No. 1941 to print 4 subject to the changes directed by the City Council to Section 5.40.140 D of the municipal code broadening the language in paragraph 2 to read: "or the loading or unloading of large or heavy items, including without limitation...", by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers: Colin, Gamblin, McCullough & Mayor Phillips NOES: Councilmembers: None ABSENT: Councilmembers: Bushey OTHER AGENDA ITEMS: 4.
