AmendmentAMENDMENT AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES REGARDING CHRONIC INEBRIATES IN SAN RAFAEL This Agreement is made and entered into this S?N day of 4:� 12016, by and between the CITY OF SAN RAFAEL (hereinafter "CITY"), and G. DANIEL BOWLING, a partner of Curtis and Bowling Mediation (hereinafter "CONTRACTOR"). RECITALS WHEREAS, the CITY and CONTRACTOR entered into that certain "Agreement for Professional Services Regarding Chronic Inebriates in San Rafael" dated November 13, 2015 (the "2015 Agreement"), pursuant to which CONTRACTOR has provided investigative and facilitation services in bringing stakeholders together to find solutions to the problems and impacts of chronic inebriates on the downtown areas of San Rafael; and WHEREAS, the parties have determined that it is necessary and appropriate to increase the budget for CONTRACTOR's work to enable him to complete the desired services under the 2015 Agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereby amend the Agreement as follows: 1. Section 4 of the 2015 Agreement is hereby amended to read in its entirety as follows: 4. COMPENSATION. For the full performance of the services described herein by CONTRACTOR, CITY shall pay CONTRACTOR at the rate of $375 per hour for his services, and reimburse CONTRACTOR for his reasonable expenses incurred in performing these services, in a total amount not to exceed $50,000. Payment will be made monthly upon receipt by PROJECT MANAGER of itemized invoices submitted by CONTRACTOR. 2. Except as specifically amended herein, the terms of the 2015 Agreement shall remain unchanged and in full force.
