RESOLUTION NO. 9646
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESUhUTION DF 11PPRECIRTION
TO
DONALD LEE WOFORD
WHEREAS, Donald Lee Woford, Division Chief in the Fire Department has been an
employee of the City of San Rafael for 30 years; and
WHEREAS, Don has served the City with honor and distinction; and
WHEREAS, Don has served in the capacity of Firefighter, Engineer, Captain,
Battalion Chief and Division Chief; and
WHEREAS, Don has served all of those posts with the utmost zeal, pride and
distinction; and
WHEREAS, Don has provided us with a note of humor that will be sorely missed;
and,
WHEREAS, Don's retirement from the Fire Department will leave a huge void to be
filled.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the
City of San Rafael acknowledge Don's excellent work and wish to express their
sincere gratitude, appreciation and best wishes to Donald Lee Woford for a happy,
healthy and long retirement.
