RESOLUTION NO. 9466.
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOMITION OF 11PPRECIA
WHEREAS,
TO
KATIE KORZUN
the San Rafael community came together to describe the
Downtown they desired in Our Vision of Downtown San
Rafael; and
WHEREAS, �he community Vision includes beautiful, tree lined streets
that are pleasant to walk; and
WHEREAS,
a stalwart group of volunteers declared themselves to be the
organization Downtown Trees, and gathered community
efforts to plant 100 street trees; and
WHEREAS, Katie gave unstintingly of her time and physical labor; and
WHEREAS, Katie acted as a faithful Pancho Sanchez to Cyr Miller's Don
Quixote and dreamed the impossible dream.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council, on
I behalf of all its citizens, hereby express sincere appreciation and
gratitude to Katie Korzun for her efforts in making Our Vision
for Downtown San Rafael come alive.
