CITY OF SAN RAFAEL

RESOWITION OE 11PPRECIdTION

the SecondAnnua[I Giovani dell' Arte Italian Street Painting
Festival was Field on June 10-11,1995 in San Rafael, and
Youth in Arts drought its J-estivafand artists to the streets of San
Rafael for the second time; and
%WE9tMSj the Festival is an unequaled celebration of art, music, food and
community spirit, involving hundreds of artists and thousands of
visitors; and
IWET", youth In Artsrovides quality arts experiences for chifdren in
Marin that ma�e a sign cant impact on their lives and their
appreciation of art; and
W}fE9WS, it is thegoal of the City of San Rafael to continue this event in
future years.
NOW, PXEUF'0V, BE IT WOLVED, that the City of San Rafael and its
Redevelopment Agency, pledges to work with Youth In Arts on future Festivals and
hereby expresses sincere appreciation and thanks to youth in Arts and all its volunteers
for their efforts in support of the I Giovani dell' Arte Italian Street Painting Festival
