Bot 151560 San Rafael, CA. 94915-1560 RESOLUTION NO. 9285 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL ORDERING CLOSING, ABANDONING AND VACATING OF A PORTION OF SHORELINE PARKWAY RIGHT OF WAY AS SHOWN ON THE "MAP OF SHORELINE INDUSTRIAL PARK" (18RM93) AND ON THE "MAP OF SHORELINE CENTER" (21RM27), SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED TO RECONVEY VACATED RIGHT OF WAY TO PRESENT UNDERLYING FEE OWNER(S). WHEREAS, the City Council on March 7, 1994, approved a resubdivision entitled "Map of Shoreline Center"; and WHEREAS, a new alignment of Shoreline Parkway as shown on the " Map of Shoreline Center" was approved and accepted by said City Council ; and WHEREAS, the "Map of Shoreline Center" was recorded at the County Recorder's Office on April 4, 1994, in volume 21 of Maps at Page 27; and WHEREAS, Shoreline Parkway right of way as shown on the "Map of Shoreline Industrial Park" (previously recorded on August 15, 1983) was also shown as existing right of way on the "Map of Shoreline Center"; and WHEREAS, it appears from all of the evidence submitted that a portion of Shoreline Parkway right of way as shown on the "Map of Shoreline Industrial Park", which was also shown as existing right of way on the " Map of Shoreline Center" is unnecessary for present or prospective public use. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows: 1. That the portion of right of way described in Exhibit "A" is unnecessary for present and prospective public use; 2. That the said right of way described in Exhibit "A' is hereby ordered closed, abandoned and vacated under Section 8335 of the State of California's Streets and Highways Code; 3. That the said closed, abandoned and vacated right of way is described on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; ORIGINAL , -tc RESOLUTION NO: 9285 4. That the Vice -Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute a Quitclaim Deed to reconvey said vacated right of way to present underlying fee owner(s). I, JEANNE M.
