A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL ORDERING VACATION OF PORTION OF JACOBY
STREET, SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael, on
the 21st day of February, 1984, passed and adopted Resolution
No. 6741, entitled, "RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER VACATION OF
PORTION OF JACOBY STREET, SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA,"; and
law, and
WHEREAS, notice was published and posted as required by
WHEREAS, a hearing was had this day as required by law,
and said Resolution No. 6741, at which hearing the Council of the
City of San Rafael heard evidence offered by all persons interested
in or objecting to the vacation hereinafter ordered; and
WHEREAS, it appears from the evidence offered and from
all of the evidence submitted, and the said Council finds, that
the portion of said street herein described is unnecessary for
present or prospective public street purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED that
that portion of JACOBY STREET, located in the City of San Rafael,
California, hereinafter more particularly described, is unnecessary
for present or prospective public street purposes and is hereby
vacated.
The portion of the public street proposed to be vacated
is located in the City of San Rafael, State of California, desig-
nated as Jacoby Street, and is more particularly described as
follows:

All that certain real property situate in the City of
San Rafael, County of Marin, State of California, des-
cribed as follows:
Being a portion of Parcel "A" as shown upon that certain
map entitled "Parcel Map, Lands of Quail Hill, Inc.,
being portion of Parcel "A" 8 o.s. 76 as recorded in Book
15 of Parcel Maps at page 38, Marin County Records and
described as follows:
Beginning at the northeasterly corner of Parcel "A" as
shown upon the aforementioned map, thence along the
boundary of said Parcel "A" S15152129" W, 30.04 ft.;
thence N77101'25" W, 113.06 ft.; thence S80°19136" W,
162.91 ft.; thence N69135'29" W, 82.00 ft.; thence
N49031119" W, 70.51 ft.; thence leaving said boundary
N38026'50" E, 30.02 ft. to a point on the northerly
boundary Parcel "A", said point also being the most
westerly corner of Parcel 2 as shown upon that same map;
thence along the northerly boundary of Parcel "A"
S49-31-19" E, 66.26 ft.; thence S69135'29" E, 68.63 ft.;

An easement for highway purposes situate in the City of
San Rafael, County of Marin, State of California, des-
cribed as follows:
Being of uniform width of 30 ft. lying to the north of
the generally southwesterly boundary of the parcel of
land described in the deed from Armando J. Flocchini and
others to Quail Hill, Inc., dated December 23, 1968, and
recorded in Book 2333 of Official Records, at page 179,
Marin County Records, said boundary line also being the
centerline of a public highway as described in Book 16 of
Deeds at page 25, Marin County Records.
PARCEL 3
All that certain real property situate in the City of San
Rafael, County of Marin, State of California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of Parcel 1, Lands
of Quail Hill Inc. as shown and delineated on that
certain map entitled "Parcel Map, Lands of Quail Hill
Inc. (2333 O.R. 179), San Rafael, Marin County,
California, being a portion of Parcel "A" as shown on
"Record of Survey of a portion of Section 2, 3, 10 & 11,
T. IN., R. 6W., Mount Diablo Meridian, San Rafael,
California" (8 O.S. 76)" as recorded September 7, 1977 in
Book 14 of Parcel Maps at page 24, Marin County Records,
said point being the intersection of the courses "South
15152129" West, 721.323 feet", and "South 52°28'00" East,
138.19 feet" as shown on said Parcel Map (14 P.M. 24);
thence along the southerly boundary of said Parcel 1 (14
P.M. 24) the following courses and distances; South
52128'00" East, 138.19 feet; South 66149'00" East, 92.20
feet; South 84106'00" East, 384.90 feet; North 72059100"
East, 116.60 feet; North 69054100" East, 203.50 feet;
South 81032'00" East, 157.74 feet; North 40153'23" East,
35.54 feet; North 81132'00" West, 184.44 feet; South
69054100" West, 210.33 feet; South 72159'00" West, 109.71
feet; North 84106'00" West, 374.26 feet; North 66049100"
West, 83.86 feet; and North 52028100" West, 146.33 feet
to the northwesterly boundary line of said Parcel 1 (14
P.M. 24); thence leaving said last described line and
continuing along said northwesterly boundary (14 P.M. 24)
South 15152'29" West, 32.28 feet to the point of beginning.

hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Monday , the 2nd day of April 1984, by the
