CITY CLERK'S OFFICE Dear Council Members, I am appealing the decision of the Planning Commission to deny my two Design Review Applications and my Lot Line Adjustment application for the following reasons: I have been pursuing my applications for over 30 months. Due to a misunderstanding, which has not been clarified by staff, there is now agreement on the method of calculation of slope for both lots. Due to Public Works staff not responding to my applications within the requisite thirty (30) days from submission of our application materials we have been unable to resolve issues regarding access requirements for the project and have not been able to meet with Public Works staff to discuss our proposal. Denial of my applications requires that I start allover again and pay news application fees when a continuance would allow me to make refinements and additions to the application materials with the new information received from staff and the directions suggested by the Planning Commission. For the above reasons, I request that you overturn the Planning Commission's denial of my applications and continue the applications with direction to resubmit revised application materials to staff for their review.
