RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE VARIOUS EASEMENTS
WHEREAS, it appears that the easements hereinafter described
are unnecessary for present or prospective public use;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of San Rafael, California,
hereby elects to proceed under the PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENTS VACATION
LAW of the State of California;
2. That the City Council of the City of San Rafael, California,
hereby declares its intention to close, vacate and abandon the ease-
ments hereinafter described;
3. That Tuesday., the 161h day of February, 1982 at 8: 00 p.m. ,
in the Council Chambers at the City Hall in the City of San Rafael,
California, is hereby set as the time and place for hearing all persons
interested in the proposed closing, abandoning and vacation of said
easements;
4. That the Department of Public Works of the City of San
Rafael shall post conspicuously notices of easement vacation along the
line of the said easements proposed to be closed, abandoned and vacated,
which notices shall be posted not more than three hundred (300) feet
apart but at least three (3) notices shall be posted as to each such
easement proposed to be closed, abandoned and vacated. The said notice
shall state the time and place of the hearing, as hereinabove provided,
and the adoption of the within resolution of intention;
5. That said easements proposed to be closed, abandoned and
vacated are described on Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incor-
porated herein by reference;
6. That a map or plan showing said easements proposed to be
closed, abandoned and vacated is on file in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of San Rafael at the City Hall, San Rafael, California.

I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City held on the 18th day of January, 1982, by the
following vote, to wit:

DESCRIPTION OF LEVEE i4AINTENANCE EASEPENTS TO BE ABANDONED
L. EASEMENT: Easement and right of way, 5 feet in width, for the construction and
maintenance of a levee, breakwater, bulkhead and/or walls of rock or other material,
to protect the streets, places, public ways and other property in the City of San
Rafael, from overflow by water, as contained in the Deed from Millard W. Young,
et ux, to the City of San Rafael, a municipal corporation, recorded January 28,
1957 in Book 1089 of Official Records, at Page 466, Marin County Records.
.2. EASEMERr: Easement and right of way, 5 feet in width, for the construction and
maintenance of a levee, breakwater, bulkhead and/or walls of rock, or other material,
to protect the streets, places, public ways and other property in the City of San
Rafael, from overflow by water, as contained in the Deed from Millard W. Young, et ux,
to the City of San Rafael, a municipal corporation, recorded October 15, 1957 in Book
1147 of Official Records, at Page 91, Marin County Records.
3. EASEMENT: An Easement, 20 feet in width, over a central portion of Parcel One
herein described, for construction and maintenance of a levee, breakwater, bulkhead,
etc., as conveyed by Sylvia C. Wright to the City of San Rafael, a municipal corporation,
,by instrument recorded October 15, 1957 in Book 1147 of Official Records, at Page 97,
Marin County Records.
