HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 6062RESOLUTION NO. 6062 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL REQUESTING ALLOCATION OF URBAN THOROUGHFARE FUNDS FOR 1981/82 WHEREAS, the County of Marin and Cities within the County have heretofore entered into an "Agreement for Improvement of Urban Thoroughfare System" dated July 1, 1977; and WHEREAS, requests for Urban Thoroughfare funds shall, after January lst of each year, be referred to the Marin County Urban Thoroughfare Priority Selection Committee; and WHEREAS, the Priority Selection Committee shall review all requests and prepare a recommended priority list to be submitted to the County Director of Public Works for review and submittal to the Marin County Board of Supervisors for approval; and WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has made application for 1981/82 funding to the Priority Selection Committee for a traffic signal improvements project on Second, Third and Irwin Streets (Phase 1) ; and WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael shall provide the necessary matching funds as required by said Urban Thoroughfare Agreement for said project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Rafael respectfully requests allocation of Urban Thorough- fare funds for the following project: PROJECT TOTAL CITY MATCHING FUNDS MATCHING FUNDS REQUESTED U.T. FUNDS Traffic Signal Im- $50,000 $25,000 $25,000 provements on Second, Third and Irwin Sts. (Phase 1 -installation of mast arms) I, JEANNE M.
