AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AND THE SAN
RAFAEL GOLDENAIRES SENIOR CITIZENS CLUB
THIS AMENDMENT to Agreement is made and entered into this
__ L.=--__ day of, --'-l'I\---'-"-{}.'--'il-----, 2018 by and between the CITY OF SAN
RAF AEL, hereinafter referred to as "CITY" and the SAN RAFAEL GOLDENAIRES
SENIOR CITIZENS CLUB a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, hereinafter referred to
as "GOLDENAlRES".
RECITALS
WHEREAS, on April 3,2013, CITY and GOLDENAIRES entered into a five-
year Agreement allowing GOLDENAIRES to use the San Rafael Community Center (the
"Center") for the planning, organization and operation of programs, services, activities
and events for Senior Adults in the CITY community (the "Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, under the Agreement, GOLDENAIRES agreed to contract for all
personnel services directly; and to continue to provide public programs for the public age
60 and older, at the Center; and
WHEREAS, under Section 6.2 of the Agreement, CITY gave GOLDENAIRES
an option, at the conclusion of the initial five-year term, to renew the Agreement on the
same terms; and
WHEREAS, GOLDENAIRES gave timely notice to CITY that it wished to
exercise its option to renew the Agreement for another five-year term;
NOW, THEREFORE, the CITY and GOLDENAIRES hereby agree as follows:

AGREEMENT
1. Section 6 of the Agreement, entitled "Term" is hereby amended to read in its
entirety as follows:
The Term of this AGREEMENT shall be five (5) years, commencing on
April 1, 2018 and ending on March 31, 2023.
2. Unless otherwise amended herein, all terms of the Agreement shall remain
unchanged and in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have executed this written
AMENDMENT to Agreement on the day and year first above written.
