AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF 4.5 ACRES OF
OPEN SPACE-RUEB PROPERTY (A.P.13-271-30)
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael adopted Ordinance Num-
ber 1198, adding to the Municipal Code Title 19 entitled Open Space;
and
WHEREAS, the purchase of the Rueb property (A.P.13-271-30),
hereafter referred to as "the property", is situated at the end of
Lynn Court, will provide an additional 4.5 acres of open space; and
WHEREAS, the purchase of the property is compatible
with previous acquisitions of open space in this area; and
WHEREAS, the property owner and the City of San Rafael
have agreed upon the sum of Twenty-eight Thousand, One hundred fifty
dollars, ($28,150), for the purchase of the property described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Rafael
hereby
RESOLVES, to purchase the property described in Exhibit
"A" for the sum of Twenty-eight Thousand, One hundred fifty dollars,
($28,150).
RESOLVES FURTHER, to authorize the Mayor to sign all
necessary papers pursuant to acquisition thereof.

Rafael hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a REGULAR meeting of the City
Council of said City, held on Monday, the 5th day of June ,
