HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 5146RESOLUTION NO. 5146 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL SETTING TERMS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY'S RELOCATION APPEALS BOARD WHEREAS, the City Council of San Rafael has enacted Urgency Ordinance No. 1232 of the City of San Rafael by adding a new Section 2.32.050 to the San Rafael Municipal Code, creating a Relocation Appeals Board; and WHEREAS, Section 2.32.050 of the San Rafael Municipal Code in pertinent part provides that the term of office for Members of the Relocation Appeals Board shall be staggered in the manner pro- vided by Resolution of the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: That of the Members of the Relocation Appeals Board first appointed, two shall be appointed for the terms of four years; one for the term of one year; one for the term of two years; and one for the term of three years. Their successors shall be appointed for terms of four years; if a vacancy occurs otherwise than by ex- piration of term it shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired portion of the term. I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on the 6th day of July , 1976, by the following vote, to -wit: AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan and Mayor Bettini NOES: COUNCILMEN: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Nixon MARION A.
