RESOLUTION OF INTEr,`TION TO VACATE VARIOUS EASEWNTS
(5' P.U.E. and 4' x 6' ANCHOR EASEMENT)
(LOTS 6, 7 and 8 BELLAM SUBDIVISION NO. 1)
WHEREAS, it appears that the easements hereinafter described are
unnecessary for present or prospective public use;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of San Rafael, California,
hereby elects to proceed under the PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENTS VACATION LAW of
the State of California;
2. That the City Council of the City of San Rafael, California,
hereby declares its intention to close, vacate and abandon the easements
hereinafter described;
3. That Monday, the 5TH day of AUGUST , 19—ZL,
at 5:00 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers at the City Hall in the City of
San Rafael, California, is hereby set as the time and place for hearing all
persons interested in the proposed closing, abandoning and vacation of said
easements;
4. That the Department of Public Works of the City of San Rafael
shall post conspicuously notices of easement vacation along the line of the
said easements proposed to be closed, abandoned and vacated, which notices
shall be posted not more than three hundred feet apart but at least three
notices shall be posted as to each such easement proposed to be closed,
abandoned and vacated. The said notice shall state the time and place of the
hearing, as hereinabove provided, and the adoption of the within resolution
of intention;
5. That said easement proposed to be closed, abandoned and vacated
are described on Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference;
6. That a map or plan showing said easements proposed to be closed,
abandoned and vacated, is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City
of San Rafael at the City Hall, San Rafael, California.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a REGULAR meeting of the Council of said City on
MONDAY 9 the ]ST day of JULY_ •

EXHIBIT A
Those portions of the public utility easements affecting Lots 6, 7
and 8 as said lots are shown upon the map of Bellam Subdivision No. 1,
filed in the office of the Recorder of Marin County in Book 13 of Maps
at page 3, and more specifically described as follows: -
1. The easterly 6.0 feet of the 4' by 20' anchor easement
extending easterly from West Railroad Avenue, as shown
on said map, along the boundary line common to Lots 6
and 7.
2. The 5' public utility easement shown as lying 2,5' on
each side of the boundary line common to said Lots 7
and 8; excepting therefrom the easterly 15.0 feet of
said 5' public utility easement.
