RESOLUTION ORDERING CLOSING, ABANDONING
AND VACATING VARIOUS EASEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael on the IST
day of JULY , 19§ -IA, adopted Resolution No. 4773
entitled RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE VARIOUS EASEMENTS; and
WHEREAS, said P.esolution was posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of San Rafael,
California, conspicuously posted notices of easement vacation as required by law;
and
WHEREAS, a hearing was had this day as required by law and said
Resolution No. 4773 , at which hearing the Council of the City of San
Rafael heard evidence offered by persons interested; and
WHEREAS, it appears from all of the evidence submitted that the
following described easements are unnecessary for present or prospective
public use;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the following described easements are unnecessary for
present or prospective public use;
2. That the following described easements are hereby ordered
closed, abandoned and vacated;
3. That the easements closed, abandoned and vacated are described
on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
I, MAR I O'! A, GRADY , Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of San Rafael held
on the 5TH day of AUGUST , 19d 74 , by the following vote,
to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN : Jensen, Mulryan, Nixon and Acting Mayor Miskimen
NOES: COUNCILMEN : None

EXHIBIT A
Those portions of the public utility easements affecting Lots 6, 7 -
and 8 as said lots are shown upon the map of Bellam Subdivision No. 1,
filed in the office of the Recorder of Marin County in Book 13 of Baps
at page 3, and more specifically described as follows:
1. The easterly 6.0 feet of the 4' by 20' anchor easement
extending easterly from West Railroad Avenue, as shown
on said map, along the boundary line common to Lots 6
and 7.
2. The 5' public utility easement shown as lying 2.5' on
each side of the boundary line common to said Lots 7
and 8; excepting therefrom the easterly 15.0 feet of
said 5' public utility easement.
