SECOND AND LINDARO PARKING LOT (PG&E LOT) - File R-140 #8 x (SRCC) 100
Chairman Boro noted that there have been rugs and cars advertised for sale at the
Second and Lindaro parking lot (PG&E lot). The operation has enlarged. It used to
be just rugs for sale on weekends, and now it is rugs and cars during the week.
Chairman Boro asked staff to look into the matter and report back. Assistant
Executive Director Ours responded that he will investigate and report.
1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF SPECIAL JOINT MEETING OF JUNE 14, 1994 (BUDGET HEARING)
Member Thayer stated she has a question regarding the minutes of June 14, 1994,

bottom of page 1, second subparagraph after it states "Finance Director Coleman
reviewed some of the major revenue sources, noting the following":
It says, "This year is the first time in two years that there has been a turnaround
in sales tax; previously there had been a decline. Two years ago, the sales tax
revenue was $10.7 million; this year it is just under $10 million". She asked if
that is an error.
Chairman Boro explained that it has gone down and now it is coming back up.
Finance Director Coleman explained that three years ago it was $10.7 million, and
then it declined for two years and was under $10 million, and this year it has
climbed back up 1% over last year. It is still about $200,000 below the higher
figure.
Member Thayer stated she is satisfied with the explanation.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:35 PM.
