HomeMy WebLinkAboutCD General Plan 2040 Project Management; Extension 1June 7, 2018 Barry Miller 2512 Ninth Street, Suite 8 Berkeley, CA 94710 RE: Extension of Agreement for Professional Planning Services General Plan 2040 Update: Dear Mr. Miller: On June 19, 2017, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 14358 authorizing an Agreement for Professional Planning Services with you as Project Manager for the City's General Plan 2040. Section 5.0 of the Agreement established a one (1) year term, to expire June 30, 2018 and allowed for two (2) additional, one (1) year extensions, upon mutual consent of the parties and approval of the City Manager. These extensions were allowed to be authorized by the City Manager, provided that the extension would not shall increase the total compensation authorized in Section 4 of the Agreement. Both parties have expressed interest to extend the agreement and no changes are proposed to the total compensation. Therefore, by signing below, both parties hereby agree to extend the Agreement for one (1) additional year, through June 30, 2019.
