a. AGENCY MEMBER VACANCY - File R-140 #8
Member Cohen noted the Councilmembers sit as members of the Redevelopment Agency
by virtue of their position as members of the San Rafael City Council, asking
if it would be necessary for the Redevelopment Agency records to note that
David Zappetini is no longer an Agency Member? Agency Attorney Ragghianti
stated there was no legal reason to do so.

b. FIESTA DAYS - File R-181 x R-140 #8
Chairman Boro announced the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Marin, in conjunction
with the Business Improvement District will be sponsoring a Fiesta Day event,
noting he and Acting Executive Director Ours looked through the archives and
discovered programs from Fiesta Day events held in the 1930's and 1940's.
Chairman Boro reported the event will begin with a dinner the evening of
Saturday, October 12th, and a day long fiesta will be held on Sunday, October
13th. Chairman Boro stated the Counsel Generals each of various South American
countries will have booths set up, displaying their country's flag, and
preparing food specific to their country. Entertainment and dancing will take
place throughout the day. Chairman Boro stated the event will be located in
front of Saint Raphael's Church and down "A" Street.
C. ANTIQUE CAR PARADE - File R-181 x R140 #8
Chairman Boro noted the Antique Car Parade was held last weekend, thanking Acting
Executive Director Ours for all his work, as well as the volunteers, the BID,
Chamber of Commerce, and the Marin Coupe and Roadster Club. He stated they
all did a very good job, and the event was well attended.
d. DOWNTOWN STREET LIGHT - File R-366 x R-140 XIII
Acting Executive Director Ours reported the demonstration street light has been
installed on Fourth Street at Courthouse Square, noting two red banners will
be affixed to the pole. Mr. Ours asked the members to go by and look at the
street light, adding that if this light is approved, they will be ordered and
installed along the length of Fourth Street by the end of the year.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:35 PM.
