Minutes, April 17, 2018. Jeff Kent moved and Eric Spielman, Chair seconded to approve Motion to approve Minutes as presented. The vote is as follows: AYES: Eric Spielman, Jeff Kent, Bob Huntsberry, Chair, Don Blayney, Alternate NOES: None ABSTAIN: Cheryl Lentini ABSENT: Stewart Summers CONSENT OLD BUSINESS NEW BUSINESS 2. 61 Gold Hill Grade – Request(s) for Environmental and Design Review Permit to construct a new single-family home on a vacant hillside lot; APN: 015-091-27; Single Family Residential -Hillside (R1-a H) Zoning District; Brad Hubbell, Applicant; Ray Cassidy, Owner; Dominican/Black Canyon Neighborhood. Project Planner: Caron Parker Staff Report Cheryl Lentini moved and Jeff Kent seconded to approve project as presented. The vote is as follows: AYES: Eric Spielman, Jeff Kent, Cheryl Lentini, Bob Huntsberry, Chair, Don Blayney, Alternate NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: Stewart Summers 3. 1628 Fifth Avenue, (8-Unit Multi-family Residential Project) – Request for Conceptual Design Review for a new 12,844 square-foot, 8-unit multi-family residential project on a vacant 10,000 square foot lot; APN: 011-193-06; High Density Residential (HR1.5) District; Vincent and Joseph O’Flynn, owners; Scott Myers-Crome Architecture, applicant; File No(s).: CDR18-001. Project Planner: Alicia Giudice Staff Report This item as Conceptual, so no vote required. The Board provided the applicant with the following feedback: • Modern design may be too modern given existing architectural styles • Needs to provide more articulation • Needs to provide trees • No recommendation for landscaping in the landscape strip.
