CALL TO ORDER STAFF COMMUNICATION BOARD COMMUNICATION APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. June 21, 2011 No motion due to lack of quorum at this meeting 2. July 19, 2011 Bob Huntsberry moved and Cheryl Lentini seconded to approve Minutes as submitted as follows: AYES: Bob Huntsberry, Vice-Chair Jeff Kent, Cheryl Lentini NOES: None ABSENT: Mohit Garg Stewart Summers NEW BUSINESS 3. 1 Wellbrock Heights (Aldersgate Methodist Church) - Request for an amendment to Environmental and Design Review Permit ED04 -006 and Use Permit UP04-003 to allow the installation of 9 new AT&T antennas co- located on the existing church building containing 12 previously approved antennas. The project would also include the installation of outdoor equipment cabinets in a fenced 15' x 30' lease space west of the church building, as well as 36 co-axial cable runs; APN: 175-060-96; Single Family Residential (R7.5) District; Aldersgate Methodist Church, owners; James Singleton, NSA Wireless, applicant; File No(s).: ED11 -003/UP11-005. Project Planner: Caron Parker Bob Huntsberry moved and Cheryl Lentini seconded to continue project and allow applicant to respond to items outlined by staff as follows: 1) Further refinement to integrate proposed screening enclosures into the building with more details to show a more seamless stealth design. 2) Landscape plan detailed to provide better screening then proposed 3) Address the screening enclosures so that they all match instead of having different colors/materials. 4) Landscape palette should change to improve appearance of site by adding trees to the left side of the parking lot and dry turf area and better irrigation throughout the area AYES: Bob Huntsberry, Vice-Chair Jeff Kent, Cheryl Lentini NOES: None ABSENT: Mohit Garg Stewart Summers 4. 809 B Street and 1212 and 1214 2nd Street - Conceptual Review requesting preliminary comments on a proposal to construct a four-story, mixed-use building with 41 residential apartment units above approximately 1,500 square feet of ground floor commercial retail space and 57 garage parking spaces on four adjacent lots located at the northwestern corner of B and 2nd Streets; APNS: 011-256-12, -14, -15 & -32; Second/Third Mixed Use District West (2/3MUW) and Cross Street Mixed Use District (CSMU) Zones; Tom Monahan, applicant; Monahan Parker, Inc., Owner; Downtown Activity Center Neighborhood. File No. CDR11-003. Project Planner: Steve Stafford No motion was required for Conceptual Review. Board provide comments on Conceptual Design.
