BOARD COMMUNICATION Board gave communications to staff. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. Tam Cemetery Master Plan - Phase I) - Request for an Environmental and Design Review Permit for Phase I site improvements of the Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery 50-Year Master Plan project; APN: 177-240-03; Planned Development (PD-1870) Zone District; Buck Kamphausen, Marin County Cemetery Company, Owner/Applicant; A.J. Moore, AIA, Representative; Sun Valley Neighborhood Area; File No. ED11-043. Project Planner: Kraig Tambornini Jeff Kent moved and Cheryl Lentini seconded to Approve the project details with changes summarized by staff: 1) In general, support for the color palette, with the exception that the Board would like to see a "paint-out" of mausoleum in the field to review final colors and confirm implementation would occur as described by the applicant. 2) Board members support landscape plan with the changes as recommended by Boardmember Kent regarding consider 24” box Arbu tus Marina as an alternate tree species to the ironwood, which is slow growing, revise planting schedule to match planting plan, addition of shrubs between Ray Court and new mausoleums, ensure irrigation system is adequately sized for planting plan, and us e min 24” box, 15 gallon tree and 5 gallon shrub sizes.
