Minutes, July 17, 2018 Stewart Summers moved and Don Blayney, Alternate seconded to approve Minutes with corrections as noted by staff. The vote is as follows: AYES: Eric Spielman, Cheryl Lentini, Stewart Summers, Bob Huntsberry, Don Blayney, Alternate NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: Jeff Kent, Larry Paul 2. Minutes, August 21, 2018 Stewart Summers moved and Don Blayney, Alternate seconded to approve Minutes with corrections as noted by staff. The vote is as follows: AYES: Cheryl Lentini, Stewart Summers, Bob Huntsberry, Don Blayney, Alternate NOES: None ABSTAIN: Eric Spielman ABSENT: Jeff Kent, Larry Paul CONSENT OLD BUSINESS NEW BUSINESS 3. 1833 Fourth St. (Shell Gas Station) – Environmental and Design Review, Use Permit, and Sign Program proposing reconstruction of the existing service station and convenience store. The project includes a 2,392 square-foot minimart, a new fueling canopy, 4 fuel pumps, 7 parking spaces and new landscaping; APN: 011-231-24 & -25; West End Village (WEV) Zoning District; Owner: AU Energy LLC; Applicant: Muthana Ibrahim, M1 Architects; File No.: ED17-054, UP17-019, and SP18-005. Project Planner: Steve Stafford Stewart Summers moved and Don Blayney, Alternate seconded to approve Motion to recommend approval of project with following modification to project design: Provide a one-foot base to both proposed freestanding signs (Signs A and F) and finish with stone veneer (El Dorado Stone, Cliffstone, "Cambria") to match the new building and fuel canopy. The overall height of these freestanding signs shall not exceed six feet.
