Members of the public may speak on agenda items.
An opportunity for public comments will be provided prior to the Board beginning its discussion on each
item.

to City Hall is available through Golden Gate Transit, Line 20 or 23. Para-transit is available by calling Whistlestop Wheels at
(415) 454-0964. To allow individuals with environmental illness or multiple chemical sensitivity to attend the meeting,
individuals are requested to refrain from wearing scented products.

3. 210 3rd Street (San Rafael Fire Station 52) – Request to review final exterior building elevation
details and colors, and final landscape and irrigation plans for a new fire station, training tower and
training classroom facility. This project was approved by the Planning Commission in 2016.
Conditions of City permit approvals require that the final details and plans be reviewed and approved
by the Design Review Board; APN: 014-101-11; Public/Quasi-Public (P/QP) District; City of San
Rafael, owner/applicant; File No: ED15-081. Project Planner: Paul Jensen
4. 3530 CIVIC CENTER DRIVE (San Rafael Fire Station 57) – Request to review final exterior
building elevation details and colors, and final landscape and irrigation plans for a new fire station.
The new fire station project was approved by the Planning Commission in 2016. Conditions of City
permit approvals require that the final details and plans be reviewed and approved by the Design

redevelopment of a 1.29 acre site with a three story senior assisted living facility containing eighty-

Ziedrich, Owner; Civic Center Neighborhood. Project Planner: Alan Montes
6. 1833 and 1835 Fourth Street (Shell Fueling Station)– Conceptual Design Review for a new gas
station and convenience store on two adjacent Downtown parcels: 011-231-24 and 011-231-25;
West End Village (WEV) Zone; Muthana Ibrahim, Applicant; Nick Goyal, Owner; Case Number:
