COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CITY HALL, 1400 FIFTH AVENUE SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA Members of the public may speak on agenda items. An opportunity for public comments will be provided prior to the Board beginning its discussion on each item. Sign language interpreters and assistive listening devices may be requested by calling (415) 485-3198 (TDD) or (415) 485-3064 (voice) at least 72 hours in advance. Minutes, March 8, 2016 CONSENT 2. 10 E Crescent Dr. (Silva Apartments) – Review of colors and landscape details for an approved four-unit apartment project on a vacant hillside parcel; APN: 10-291-67; HR1 Zone: Dan Silva, Owner/Applicant, West End Neighborhood. Project Planner: Kraig Tambornini OLD BUSINESS 3. San Rafael Fire Station 57- 3530 Civic Center Drive – Request for review of REVISED PLANS for Environmental and Design Review Permit to replace the existing Fire Station 57 with the development of a new fire station (9,600 square feet), that will include the Medic 3 (paramedic) currently located at Fire Station 53. The project includes associated site and landscaping improvements and an 800-square foot storage building for this County-owned site. The initial plans were reviewed by the Design Review Board on February 17, 2016, but the project was continued for plan revisions. San Rafael Public Safety Center- 1313 5th Avenue/1039 C Street – Request for Conceptual Review (preliminary Design Review) of design to develop a new, 44,000-square-foot Public Safety Center for fire, police and emergency services to replace the existing Fire Station 51 (Downtown Fire Station). The project includes a subterranean garage, public plaza and associated site and landscaping improvements.
