THIS AMENDMENT TO TASK ORDER No. 10 is entered into oneh

between the City of San Rafael, a municipal corporation ("City"), and
A 6►Gav _ , ("Consultant").
RECITALS
A. The City and Consultant have entered into a Master Consultant Services Agreement
("Agreement") dated December 12, 2019 under which Consultant has agreed to perform professional
Civil services for the City.
B. Pursuant to the Agreement, on May 27, 2020, the City and Consultant entered into "Task
Order No. 10" under which Consultant agreed to perform Civil services in connection with City's
Francisco Boulevard West One -Way Street Conversion (the "Project"), as specified in Attachment A
included in Task Order No. 10.
C. City now requires additional bid & construction phase support for the Project, and
Consultant is willing to provide such services.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant agree to amend Task Order No. 10 as follows:
AGREEMENT TO AMEND TASK ORDER NO. 10
1. Section I of Task Order No. 10, entitled "Scope of Services," is hereby amended to include the
additional services set forth in Consultant's proposal entitled "Bid & Construction Phase Services for
Francisco Boulevard West One -Way Street Conversion" dated July 28, 2020, attached to this Amendment
to Task Order No. 10 as "Attachment I" and incorporated herein by reference.
2. Section 2 of the Task Order, entitled "Date of completion; Work hours estimate; Cost estimate and
budget; Fee schedule" is hereby amended to include the additional services, work hours estimate, cost
estimate and budget set forth in Consultant's proposal entitled "Bid & Construction Phase Services for
Francisco Boulevard West One -Way Street Conversion" dated July 28, 2020, attached to this Amendment
to Task Order No. 10 as "Attachment 1" and incorporated herein by reference.
3. Except as specifically amended herein, all of the other provisions, terms and obligations of Task
Order No. 10 dated May 27, 2020 shall remain valid and shall be in full force.

This contract amendment is attached to the contract between BKF Engineers and the City of San Rafael dated May
27, 2020 and is governed by the terms and conditions therein.
DESCRIPTION:
BKF Engineers (BKF) will perform the following additional services:
TASK 1: REVISE CIVIL IMPROVEMENT DRAWINGS ($11,200)
BKF will prepare revised Improvement Drawings (civil roadway sheets and
traffic signal sheets) to facilitate roadway and pathway design revisions
requested by the City of San Rafael:
• Striping modifications (incorporation of additional bollards and stick -
down curbs) at the intersection of Rice Drive with Francisco Boulevard
West (FBW)
• Grading, striping and traffic signal modifications (realigned roadway
curbing, bicycle route striping and curb island) at the intersection of
2nd Street with FBW
BKF will update previously prepared Forms GO 88-B and accompanying exhibits
for both intersections for the City's use in submitting to the California Public
TASK(S): Utilities Commission (CPUC) for Authorization to Alter General Highway -Rail
crossing. Actual submittal and interagency coordination is assumed to be
provided directly by the City.
TASK 2: CONTINGENCY ($5,800)
BKF will make sheet revisions specific to this design and other scope
adjustments the City has made since the bid package that was issued in May
2020, consisting primarily of removing scope items such as lights, trash rack
removal and trees. BKF will coordinate with the City regarding the extent and
location(s) of scope to be removed from the Improvement Drawings.
Exclusions and Assumptions from any previous contract scope of work stili
apply. Major revisions or addenda to the Improvement Drawings, requests for
additional data, or deviations from the initial City submittal of the 100%
Improvement Drawings and City requested changes will be considered as
additional services, and will be billed in accordance with our hourly rate
schedule unless otherwise negotiated.

Subject to the terms of a services agreement:
• Charges for outside services, equipment, materials, and facilities not furnished directly by BKF Engineers will
be billed as reimbursable expenses at cost plus 10%. Such charges may include, but shall not be limited to:
printing and reproduction services; shipping, delivery, and courier charges; subconsultant fees and
expenses; agency fees; insurance; transportation on public carriers; meals and lodging; and consumable
materials.
• Allowable mileage will be charged at the prevailing IRS rate per mile.
• Monthly invoices are due within 30 days from invoice date. Interest will be charged at 1.5% per month on
past due accounts.
