CONSIDERATION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL
BEST PRACTICES
Projects will consider how to mitigate and reduce wildfire hazard while
managing for ecological health
Additions to ordinance have not changed the subjectivity to CEQA
San Rafael recognizes the importance of Environmental Best Practices
and has brought on new team members with strong environmental and
natural resource backgrounds:
Kate Anderson, California Registered Professional Forester, B.S. in Forestry
with a concentration in Wildland Fire Management
Gavin Albertoli,ISA Certified Arborist, B.S. in Forestry and Natural
Resources with a concentration in Forest and Environmental Practices
Simon Wright,B.S. in Forestry and Natural Resources with a concentration
in Wildland Fire and Fuels Management
