THIS TASK ORDER is entered into on /,3 /K , 2(rgetween the City of San
Rafael, a municipal corporation ("City"), and BKF Engineers, ("Consultant").
RECITALS
A. The City and Consultant have entered into a Master Consultant Services Agreement
("Agreement") dated December 12, 2019 under which Consultant has agreed to perform certain
professional consulting services for the City; and
B. Pursuant to the ten -ns of the Agreement, the City wishes Consultant to perform certain
tasks as set forth in this Task Order, which constitute the Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
1. Scope of services. Consultant shall provide any and all of the services, with the exception of
"Optional Service #I (UAV Drone Imagery)", set forth in Attachment A of this Task Order, dated March
8, 2021, as directed by the City.
Jonathan Shattuck shall be the Project Manager for Consultant for this Task Order. Additional
professional services may be performed by other Consultant staff with prior notice and approval by City.
a. City's duties. The City will:
(1) Determine the scope of services, as set forth in Attachment A.
(2) Make available the project plans and specifications and other City data related to the
project, including full infonnation as to the City's requirements.
(3) Designate Hunter Young as the person at the City responsible for monitoring
performance under this Task Order.
b.Consultant duties. The Consultant will:
(1) Provide and perform tasks identified in Attachment A, Scope of Services.
(2) Provide miscellaneous consulting and other services related to the Project and not
stipulated elsewhere in this Task Order, when requested by the City in writing. A Task
Order Amendment is required if these additional services cannot be performed within the

Task Order budget.
Date of completion; Work hours estimate; Cost estimate and budget; Fee schedule.
With regard to each project given to Consultant that is subject to this Task Order, the time of completion,
work hours estimate, cost estimate and budget and fee schedule are set forth in Exhibit A to this Task Order
and shall not exceed $9,400.
Authorization to proceed.
The City will give Consultant authorization to proceed with the work specified in this Task Order only after
Consultant submits updated insurance certificates and endorsements, in accordance with Section 10 of the
Agreement.
Master Agreement terms; Conflicts.
Except as expressly otherwise provided herein, all terms of the Agreement shall apply to Consultant in the
performance of work pursuant to this Task Order. If there is a conflict between this Task Order and the
Agreement, this Task Order shall control.
Amendment of Task Order, Conflicts.
Except as provided in Section I (b)(2) above, this Task Order may not be modified except by an Amended
Task Order executed and approved in the same manner as the Task Order.
Signatures. The parties have executed this Task Order, as of the date first written above.

DESCRIPTION:
• Provide up to one (1) day of a 2 -man field survey crew to survey the slide area.
• Create a base map, in CAD, from the laser scan point cloud data.
• The base map will include topography features such as major grade breaks, curbs, walks,
stairs, rails, gates, ramps, striping, trees greater than 6 -inches in diameter, USA markings,
visible utility markings and inverts of accessible gravity utility structures
• Boundary Surveying and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle UAV (drone) imagery is not included in the
base scope of work.
• The horizontal and vertical coordinate systems will be tied to CCS83 and NAVD88,
respectively.
• Deliverable: Signed PDF of survey as well as CAD base file.
Service #1 (UAV Drone Imagery):
• Provi one (1) day of a 1- man field survey crew utilizing BKF in h (Drone)
equipment. We wi site and download digital ima AD.

Optional Service #2 (Right of Way Survey):
• Provide boundary surveying to locate the right of way lines within and 50' beyond the project
limits identified task order request email, Dated March 5, 2021
• Provide boundary surveying to locate the right of way lines in front of 20 Meyer Road.
• Right of way lines will be based on the "Map of Meyer Road Subdivision" and discovered
monuments in the field. BKF is not proposing to provide a Title Report or Title Services as part
of this scope of work. It is understood that BKF will not be liable for title research or liabilities
that may be disclosed by a title report.
• We do not anticipate filing a Record of Survey based on the tract map provided. If, during the
course of our survey, it is determined that a Record of Survey is required by Business and
Professions Code 8762, we will provide an additional service request.
• Deliverable: Signed PDF of right of way survey, overlaid on topography survey as well as CAD
base map.

Subject to the terms of a professional services agreement:
• Charges for outside services, equipment, materials, and facilities not furnished directly by BKF Engineers will be
billed as reimbursable expenses at cost plus 10%. Such charges may include, but shall not be limited to: printing
and reproduction services; shipping, delivery, and courier charges; subconsultant fees and expenses; agency
fees; insurance; transportation on public carriers; meals and lodging; and consumable materials.
• Allowable mileage will be charged at the prevailing IRS rate per mile.
• Monthly invoices are due within 30 days from invoice date. Interest will be charged at 1.5% per month on past
due accounts.
